Venue

Warsaw is a city of contrasts, where a rich history meets modern architecture, vibrant culture, and abundant green spaces. Nearly destroyed during World War II, the city was meticulously rebuilt, becoming a powerful symbol of resilience and renewal.

Warsaw beautifully blends tradition with modernity — from its carefully reconstructed Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to its dynamic skyline and vibrant cultural life. The city offers a wealth of experiences for visitors, from rich historical landmarks to contemporary art, green parks, and a lively culinary scene.

Warsaw also delights with its diverse food scene and affordable prices, making it one of the most budget-friendly capitals in Europe.

The 21st DRIP Conference will be held at the Pałac Staszica, a historic landmark located on Warsaw’s Royal Route, known for its neoclassical architecture and cultural significance. Its central location places it just a short walk from Warsaw’s Old Town. Built in the early 19th century, it now serves as the seat of the Polish Academy of Sciences and hosts numerous academic, scientific, and cultural events. The area offers plenty of nearby accommodation options, with hotels and guest rooms within walking distance, and is very well connected to the rest of the city by public transport.
